Charlie is an inspiring and dynamic tutor with a First Class MA Hons in History from Edinburgh University. She trained as an English teacher at the Institute of Education and was promoted to second-in-command at a London day school before becoming a private tutor full time.

Charlie has extensive experience with tutees of all ages, including adults. She has a sensitive and enabling approach to teaching and works hard to develop a rapport with each and every tutee.

UNIVERSITY STUDIES / HUMANITIES

Charlie supports University students with all areas of their studies in humanities subjects, whether it's refining a research approach, tightening up essay structure, working on expression or argument building. She can provide educational mentoring in the form of one-off sessions or give ongoing support throughout the academic year.

GCSE / ALEVEL

Charlie has a wealth of experience teaching IGCSE, GCSE and A level History, Classics and English, both in schools and as a private tutor. She has a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of various examination boards and the skill sets students need to demonstrate in order to succeed.
